Reminiscent Herb Farm Nursery

We had such a wonderful experience with Reminiscent. We visited the nursery while traveling and were blown away by their bonsai selection, knowledge, and how much time they took helping us. We ended up purchasing a couple of bonsai and arranged to have them shipped home to Charleston. One of the pots unfortunately broke in transit, despite being extremely carefully packed. What really impressed me was how Stephanie handled it. She responded immediately, was genuinely concerned about the tree, gave me clear instructions for taking care of it in the meantime, and then went above and beyond by shipping us the same ceramic pot, fresh soil, fertilizer, and instructions right away. Accidents happen—especially when shipping something as delicate as a bonsai in a ceramic pot—and to me, the way a business responds when something goes wrong says far more than when everything goes perfectly. Their response could not have been better. The knowledge, selection, care, and customer service at Reminiscent are exceptional. We live several states away and I would absolutely go out of my way to visit again. 10/10 experience and a nursery I would recommend without hesitation.

Definitely worth checking out if you’re bonsai-curious. Friendly, knowledgeable owners helped us find a bonsai tree and even taught us how not to kill it immediately. There’s a huge selection and bonsai clubs from all over the country come for the great quality. Beyond bonsai, there’s a wide variety of plants and flowers.

I almost didn't want to leave a review because I want to keep this treasure to myself, but this place deserves all the praise. I'm a novice gardener who wanted to start a pollinator garden. The owner of reminiscent herb farm was such an incredible help. She guided me toward a diverse selection of plants that have been thriving. They're all exceptional quality. Her knowledge of her inventory and what I needed was so impressive! This morning I walked out to my garden, coffee in hand, and watched the honeybees, bumblebees, a butterfly, and even a hummingbird enjoy the garden. Brings joy to my heart. So grateful for reminiscent herb farm's help and guidance during this process!

The staff was so polite. The final greenhouse with the vent houses the bonsai selection. It's so much to see from the choices here, if you can only make one trip; I'd say take your time to soak in the beautiful options! If you have questions about getting into bonsai plants, whether you have before or not. This place will be so helpful to you. Supplies are here to care for existing plants, or you can buy one to shape; or even a fully done bonsai. NKY has a hidden gem here truly. ✨️

First time here and we absolutely fell in love! Was greeted by Lucky, a very friendly kitty and their gorgeous selection of plants as soon as you step foot out of your car! They were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Definitely come here for a wide variety of plant selection, and most importantly to support a small owned local business!
